Yarmouth Chorale

The Yarmouth Chorale is a four-part (SATB), non-auditioned  community choir, made up of amateur singers from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, and the Tri-Counties Area. We meet Monday evenings from 6:30 – 9:00. Currently, our membership is approximately 60 singers, ranging in age from 13 – 80-something. The only prerequisite to joining is a love of ensemble singing, and the joy of making music.

We perform twice a year, with two concerts at Christmas. We team up with the Yarmouth Orchestra and Citizens’ Band and perform music of the Holiday Season — some sacred, some secular. It is the show that, for many in our community, begins the Christmas Season. If you’re in the area in early December, check us out. We guarantee that you will be in the Christmas mood by the time you leave.

Tenors & Basses Needed for Fall 2022!

The Yarmouth Chorale needs tenors and basses. Whether you’re a trained chorister or a sing-in-the-shower kind of person, we’d LOVE to hear from you. The Chorale is getting back together – in person – this Fall to resume our regular Monday night practices.

We are planning our Annual Christmas Concert and looking ahead to our Spring 2023 Season. The only part that is missing is you! No audition is required – just a love of singing and creating music with other people. If you’re interested, please send us a Facebook message, or email us at yarmouthchorale@hotmail.com

Sadly, we don’t need any new Soprano or Alto voices at this time, but check back later for some exciting news regarding Spring-Summer 2023.
